A speedpaint I started Tuesday night. Refined it a bit yesterday.
An experimentation really. I tried using a smaller palette like elsevilla-san's ben saying. Can you guess how many, except for white. I enjoyed it. It brought out the colour mixer I used to be when I used traditionnal oils. Colours work a lot more together and make up for the not-so-correct anatomy. As for the subject, I thought him up a while ago. He lives in a little cabin in the woods for now. Saiunkoku Monogatari is corrupting my mind right now... I can't help but seein Seiran in him. Curses! |
