In other news, my sub ran out, not that I used it all that much but everyone mentions it so there! And I'm excited, some of my photos will be up for show in my cousin's café all the way in Québec. Really happy!!

It's that time of the year again, but this year Christmas will be a little different for me. My grandfather died last night. It was cancer, which makes me wonder how long it ran unchecked. He was in the hospital for two weeks. I went to see him yesterday and he was already comatosed and all. The funerals will probably be next week. So it's gonna be a sad Christmas. I was working ona holiday pic and I'm sorry, but it's gonna be late. And I'm moving in January. It's official this time! I don't know when things will settle down again, but I'll try to keep you posted. Meanwhile, happy holidays everyone!!!

Happy Monday people! I'm back from the dead, well, not quite. A lot happened since mid-July. My surgery went well, as far as the surgery goes. The hospital stay is another story... I had a cast for a month, and it gave me a huge blister. You can still see where it was. And the scars are still a little red/purple, but that usually takes a while. Maybe next year I'll have a picture haha! I'm getting used to my new foot, though I'm still scared to put some weight on it. It doesnt feel as solid. Thank god I have footstraps! And the compression socks/tube things are a pain, but better that than swelling. Ah, those things take time. While I was still in my cast, my relatives came to visit. We ate a whole bunch of scallops! And I got a book on caligraphy. Now I wonder what I'm gonna do with it! And I hopped on the flatscreen bandwagon! Yes, I got a new Mac! My room was a mess for two weeks, I was so excited. It's a 20-inch iMac, with OSX Leopard and an intel chip! It's so shmexy! I love Spaces to no end, now I have four desktops, no more clutter. And Photoshop is working fine even if Adobe warned of a slowdown because it's running under rosetta. It even works when Painter is open... My dream!
As for my old Mac, I'm selling it. 300$ if you're interested. One fourth of the price I paid it approximately. It's an old PowerPC and it works as fast as when I got it (unlike a regular PC) despite my constant abuses... Um, It has a superdrive, reads and writes DVDs and CDs. There's just a tiny scratch on the screen. I even forgot it was there. And the keyboard is french but you can always buy a new one from Apple. The new keyboards are wicked cool too. No clear plastic that's always dirty anymore. My hopes aren't too up, but I'm willing to pitch in office if you pick it up. So, well, that's it for my computers. I've also been doing some thinking about many things. My writer/MSN buddy moved to BC and it's a 4-hour time difference... So I have litte motivation to go on MSN and get pestered by it every 15 or so minutes to log back in. It's probably my ISP being an ass. I'm really tired of half-loading pages. And I still don't have a date for the big move. The man who has my appartment has trouble getting his new place so it looks like it might be delayed. So I'm in a sort of sucky limbo. But I should get back to work. I have a few pieces coming along.

Hello peoples!

I have a picture coming up, I really do. I'm just stalled on the hair. Even the nose was less of a pain!!! Non-black hair is tricky! And I was hoping to post it before I go... It probably won't happen.

Why? Because I have a surgery scheduled for Friday. Yes, this Friday! So I'll be leaving Thursday and I should be out Saturday or Sunday... The surgery is to straighten my left foot. I'll have a cast for 6 weeks afterwards.

So, if I promised you something, it'll have to wait until I'm in drawing shape again.
